I’m an artist living New York City. My main focus is jazz, I also illustrate and take 35mm film photographs, and am a 3D spatial designer. And I write a substack about art.

ANSWERING YOU

Unlike many NYC jazz musicians, I did not go to music school. But I've had 10+ years of piano lessons, and at age 26 I went to my local community college to complete the 4-semester musicianship and theory series.
Much of my jazz training came from jam sessions, great and kind musicians who shared their knowledge with me, going out and observing live music, and participating in the community. I have also been able to study privately with some great people.
Of course I have a day job- I live in Manhattan! I'm a 3D experiential designer, with 7+ years of experience in the Disneyland Parks Live Entertainment art department. You also might have seen some of my work at Coachella or Stagecoach.
I like taking 35mm film photographs. I love street photography and candids.
